SafeShield is built by Agile Hippo, a cyber-physical AI security practice.
Agile Hippo secures AI and autonomy inside physical operations — model integrity, agent containment, and adversarial testing for robots, vision systems, and industrial control environments. The work includes multi-agent orchestration, on-device inference, sensor fusion, and edge fleet management, and it includes attacking those systems the way an adversary would to find where they break.
That's an unusual place to build a school safety product from, and it's the reason this one is built the way it is. When your day job is finding the failure modes in autonomous systems, you design conservatively: constrain what the system can do, document what it can see, disclose what it can't, and put a human at every consequential decision.
Most security technology is sold on what it might prevent. We'd rather be judged on what it actually does.
SafeShield is in development. The aircraft is autonomous once a trigger fires; the operating authority, and the ability to take control of the flight, stays with a partner law enforcement agency or a contracted operator. That division is deliberate, and it is not one we intend to collapse.
